Netflix’s The Wrong Paris now has an official trailer and key art, giving fans a first real look at Miranda Cosgrove’s upcoming romantic comedy, and it’s not your typical Parisian love story.
The film premieres globally on September 12, 2025, and follows a young woman who signs up for a dating show thinking she’s headed to Paris, France, only to discover she’s in Paris, Texas.

What The Wrong Paris Is About
Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly, Mother of the Bride) plays a hopeful romantic who joins a televised dating show, assuming she’s off to Paris, France. But after arriving and seeing cowboy hats instead of croissants, she realizes she’s actually in Paris, Texas.
Determined to go home, she fakes her way through the early rounds of filming. But the show’s bachelor, played by Pierson Fodé (The Man from Toronto, The Bold and the Beautiful), turns out to be unexpectedly sincere and not at all the reality-TV stereotype she expected.
As the show rolls on, scripted romance gives way to something real. The wrong Paris might just be the right one after all.

Why It Might Be Worth the Watch
If you’re a fan of Netflix originals like Resort to Love or Love in the Villa, this one’s aiming for the same mix of heart and humor. With its unexpected setting, self-aware charm, and a strong female lead who isn’t afraid to push back on the genre’s usual tropes, The Wrong Paris looks like a light but satisfying watch.
Plus, it’s a return to leading-lady territory for Miranda Cosgrove, who’s clearly leaning into adult romantic comedy with more nuance and charm than we’ve seen from her in years.
The Wrong Paris premieres September 12, 2025, only on Netflix.
