Lucky Episode 7, “All Good Things,” brings Lucky’s plan against Whittaker to a head, but getting out alive is only part of what she has to do. There is still Priscilla, the missing money, an FBI informant, and, most importantly, John.
The final scenes make Lucky confront something she has known for a long time. Her father loves her, but that has never stopped him from using her when there was something to gain.
Lucky Meets Whittaker With the FBI Watching
The episode opens in the past, with John preparing a young Lucky for another con. She is scared, but he assures her that everything will go as planned. Another memory soon begins appearing in pieces: Lucky as a child beside a swimming pool.
In the present, Lucky heads into the desert with Agent Rand. Kershaw goes over the operation with her before she is left alone to meet Whittaker. The FBI needs him talking about the gas scheme before Lucky gives him the money, and “genius” will be her signal if she needs help.
Rand and Kershaw take up position nearby while the rest of the team waits farther out.
Priscilla is also on her way. Before she leaves, Dutch gives her a watch he found among Cary’s belongings. She puts it on, then leaves with Whittaker.
Whittaker has no interest in dwelling on what happened to Cary. Priscilla thanks him for getting her out of prison and apologizes for how long it has taken to recover the money, but his attention is already on what comes next.
Lucky is waiting when they arrive. She knows the money is the only reason she is still useful to Whittaker, so she has made sure he cannot simply take it from her. The funds have been converted to crypto, and Lucky claims the seed phrase exists only in her memory. If Whittaker wants access to it, he needs her alive.
She also tells him that Cary taking the money was never really about stealing from Priscilla or Lucky. He was going after his father. Then Lucky reveals the part of her plan Whittaker wasn’t expecting her to know.
Kershaw Is Whittaker’s Mole Inside the FBI
Lucky has worked out that Whittaker has been getting information from someone inside the FBI.
He knew where Cary was in La Jolla. He also knows the FBI is watching the meeting in the desert. The person feeding him that information is Kershaw.
Rand realizes what is happening and pulls her gun on him, but their confrontation quickly turns physical. Kershaw knocks the weapon away, and the two fight on top of the oil tank. Rand is pushed over the edge and barely holds on before climbing back up. When the fight resumes, she gets control of her gun and shoots Kershaw.
Down below, Whittaker has his own surprise waiting for Lucky. His men bring out John, who has been badly beaten.
Lucky still tries to hold onto the only leverage she has. She promises Whittaker the seed phrase after he releases both her and her father.
Whittaker decides he would rather force John to watch Lucky die and he wants Priscilla to do it.

Priscilla Kills Whittaker
Whittaker hands Priscilla his gun and orders her to kill Lucky. For a moment, she appears ready to follow his order. Instead, she turns the gun on Whittaker. Priscilla shoots him and then goes after his men. Dutch, who has been hiding nearby, joins the fight and helps take down the men trying to reach her.
Whittaker is left wounded but alive long enough for Priscilla to face him herself. She tells him he should have been a better father before shooting him in the face. With Whittaker and his men down, Lucky grabs John and runs. Their escape does not last long. Dutch intercepts them and takes them back to Priscilla.
Lucky doesn’t try another trick. She asks Priscilla for something much simpler: let her leave and Priscilla does.
She also makes a decision Lucky wasn’t expecting. She doesn’t take back the crypto. Cary would have wanted Lucky to have the money, so Priscilla lets her keep it and tells Lucky and John to disappear.
Rand arrives too late to arrest her; Priscilla and Dutch are already gone. That doesn’t mean Rand is giving up. She later visits Priscilla at home to tell her that she still intends to come after her.

John Takes Cary’s Teddy Bear From Lucky
For Lucky and John, the immediate danger is over.
At a motel, Lucky explains that she began to suspect Whittaker had someone inside the FBI after Priscilla found Cary in La Jolla. John is far more interested in celebrating. They have survived, and they have the money.
Over dinner, however, their conversation turns to the past. John tells Lucky about a dream he had repeatedly while in prison. In it, Lucky was there with him in his cell, and the two of them escaped together.
Lucky has a recurring dream too. In hers, she is drowning. John doesn’t understand that hers isn’t simply a dream; it comes from something that really happened.
He is already talking about what the two of them can do next when Lucky stops him. She doesn’t want another job or another plan, she is done.
John then asks about the seed phrase; Lucky shows him Cary’s teddy bear.
The next morning, she wakes to find John gone; so are their car and the bear. John has made exactly the choice Lucky expected him to make.

Lucky Episode 7 Ending Explained: What Does Lucky Do With the Money?
John believes the seed phrase is hidden inside Cary’s teddy bear, but when he plays its recording, he hears Lucky’s voice instead.
She tells him the truth about the swimming pool. When Lucky was a child, John made her jump into a pool even though she couldn’t swim. It was part of a con. He intended to threaten the hotel with a lawsuit so they would give them their rooms for free.
The memory that has been returning throughout the episode finally makes sense. Lucky’s fear of drowning came from a moment when her own father was willing to put her in danger because it could help him pull off a scam.
She also knew he might try to take the money once he thought he knew where the seed phrase was.
Lucky tells John that he isn’t getting it. What she is giving him instead is his freedom. She loves him, but she doesn’t want to see him again. John gets out of the car and screams.
Lucky hasn’t kept the crypto for herself either. Rand arrives at work and finds a package waiting on her desk. Inside is a laptop containing the crypto account along with the seed phrase Lucky claimed was only in her head.
Lucky has given the money to the FBI. The episode closes with Lucky on the beach, smiling.
For most of “All Good Things,” everyone assumes the money is Lucky’s way out. Whittaker wants it. Priscilla spent years trying to recover it. John immediately starts thinking about what he and Lucky can do with it, but Lucky chooses something else.
She gives up the money, walks away from John, and ends the cycle that has kept pulling her back into his cons. The swimming-pool memory explains why that decision goes beyond his attempt to steal the crypto. John has been putting Lucky at risk for his schemes since she was a child; that’s why this time, she doesn’t go with him.
