Netflix has unveiled its Netflix Italy 2026 lineup, presenting a wide-ranging slate of original films, scripted series, competition formats, documentaries, and live sporting events.
Revealed under the “What Next?” banner, the 2026 offering spans crime dramas, historical stories, teen series, comedies, unscripted formats, and major live broadcasts, reinforcing Netflix’s continued investment in Italian and European storytelling.

La Legge di Lidia Poët – Final Season, Season 3
April 1887: Enrico has become a member of parliament, he often travels between Rome and Turin
with Teresa and has managed to get Lidia’s bill to committee. Lidia is impatient but knows she
must trust her brother as she continues to see Fourneau, even though she obviously does not
want to commit, marry or make their relationship public. He has been promoted at work and is now

Chiaroscuro
Rome’s National Gallery. In the most important exhibition hall, the body of the director is found
murdered and laid out on the floor like the corpse depicted by Artemisia Gentileschi in a famous
painting. Inspector Angelo Tiberi (Andrea Lattanzi) and the art consultant Cosmo Speranza
(Pierpaolo Spollon) find themselves investigating this creepy murder. Cosmo is a sophisticated
art expert who lives in a wonderful loft overlooking the Circus Maximus. Tailored suits, many
one-night stands and no mobile phone, because he deems it a vulgar object. He has the gift of
an ‘absolute eye’: his gaze makes artworks come to life, revealing every composition detail and
every crafting secret. He is lonely and inconsistent, with no academic qualification and outside
the system. But the system fears him, because his expertise is excellent in figuring out whether a
work of art is authentic or fake. At his side, his friend Mia (Aurora Giovinazzo). Angelo Tiberi is a
good policeman who grew up in a large family in a working-class neighbourhood in Rome. Simple,
straightforward, authentic. Many friends, a great love for Rome, and his mobile phone always
ringing because parents, sisters and brothers-in-law are always asking him for favours, knowing
that he’s too generous to say no. Methodical and diligent, he is secretly in love with his lifelong
friend, Eleonora (Romana Maggiora Vergano), a coroner. Angelo and Cosmo are too different to
like each other. But the murder case at the National Gallery forces them to cooperate. They will
discover that their differences make them an investigative couple as unlikely as they are effective.

Minerva – La Scuola (Minerva Academy)
Minerva Academy is a teen drama series set in a military high school in Naples. It is a world
that seems to belong to another era, where students are woken up at dawn for the flag-raising
ceremony, where mobile phones and civilian clothes are not allowed, and where subjects include
military tactics and fencing lessons. It is a world where love stories are forbidden and every
mistake comes at a very high price. The protagonists of the series are Salvo (Ciro Minopoli), a
boy from a foster home who entered the school to discover the truth about the fate of his best
friend; Vincenzo (Biagio Venditti), who wants to emulate his father’s military career; and Camilla
(Margherita Buoncristiani), a spoilt girl from Milan who was sent there by her father to be reformed.
Minerva Academy also talks about adults, the officers and civilian teachers who are there to train
the young people, but who have to deal with their consciences, their fragility and their mistakes.
At the Minerva Academy military high school, the students, pushed to their limits, discover
unexpected things about themselves. Every young person there has ambitions and dreams. The
school will not help them achieve them. The school will make them understand if they were right
for them. In a word, it will make them grow up.

Nuova Scena – Season 3 (Rhythm + Flow Italy)
RHYTHM + FLOW ITALY, Netflix’s rap show produced by Fremantle, will officially return in 2026
with a third season that promises to be more explosive than ever, featuring an incredible new
addition. Joining the now-iconic judges Fabri Fibra, Geolier and Rose Villain is another legend of
the scene: Guè officially becomes part of the team to raise the bar even higher and discover the
next stars of Italian rap.
The winner will once again take home a €100,000 prize: the search for the artists who will define
the new scene is ready to begin, with a stellar jury and plenty of surprises ahead.

Physical Italia – From 100 to 1 is an unprecedented physical competition in which 100 contestants

Live programming plays a significant role in the Netflix Italy 2026 lineup.
WWE on Netflix
Starting from April 1st, RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and all Premium Live Events – including the
Upcoming WrestleMania live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas – will be available in Italy
exclusively live on Netflix, with Italian commentary by the historical voices “Il Godzilla” Luca
Franchini and “Il Bardo” Michele Posa.
From the same date, Netflix Italy will also be the exclusive home of WWE’s content library, including
archive episodes of RAW, Smackdown,n and NXT, past Premium Live Events including Royal Rumble,
SummerSlam, WrestleMania, and more, plus new original programming and documentaries.
