Episode 6 of Margo’s Got Money Troubles changes the scale of everything. What started as Margo quietly trying to survive online suddenly becomes public, messy, and impossible to control once Hungry Ghost takes off online.
The episode follows Margo building a full character around her online persona while Jinx, Susie, KC, and Rose help turn it into something bigger than a simple OnlyFans account. By the end of the hour, though, the internet attention stops feeling exciting. Margo’s identity gets exposed publicly, her friendships begin falling apart, and Mark moves to take custody of Bodhi.
It is easily the most stressful episode of the season so far because almost every problem Margo has been avoiding finally crashes into her real life.
Hungry Ghost Becomes More Than Just an Online Account
The episode opens like a fake movie premiere for Hungry Ghost. People gather to watch the world premiere while a giant alien creature suddenly appears towering over the city.
The alien is actually Margo in full green makeup with bright red hair. As Hungry Ghost, she tells people she crawled inside their phones and plans to live there forever as long as people keep feeding her memes.
The opening immediately makes it clear that Margo now understands exactly what she is doing online. This is no longer random content.
In real life, she explains her plan more clearly. TikTok will work like wrestling promos, drawing people into the character, while OnlyFans becomes the “pay-per-view.” Hungry Ghost is her gimmick.
That comparison honestly makes perfect sense for the show because wrestling has always been sitting in the background of Margo’s story through Jinx. Episode 6 finally connects those worlds directly.
Margo asks Susie for help designing the Hungry Ghost costume, and soon the entire group becomes involved in building the persona.

Jinx Finds a New Role in Margo’s World
Jinx and Susie meet with KC and Rose to officially organize the Hungry Ghost project.
Everyone takes on a role. Susie handles costumes, props, creative direction, and set design. Jinx becomes responsible for stunts and fight choreography.
The character itself is intentionally weird. Hungry Ghost is presented as a young alien who has just been dropped onto Earth, naive enough to make impulsive, ridiculous decisions without understanding human behavior.
The videos quickly become stranger and bigger. In one clip, Hungry Ghost eats too many chips and vomits silver liquid all over KC and Rose.
The important thing is that the content actually works. The team fully commits to the bit, and people online respond.
Meanwhile, Shayanne is away on her honeymoon with Kenny, mostly disconnected from everything happening back home.
Jinx, on the other hand, starts dealing with problems from his own past. After breaking Mark’s hand earlier in the season, he receives a restraining order.
He visits Lace, his former wrestling colleague, who is now a lawyer. She explains that he needs to comply with the restraining order going forward. Lace also points out that Mark’s filing months later does not fully line up with the original incident, especially after Jinx admits he continued calling afterward.
During the conversation, Jinx also confesses that Shayanne got married in Las Vegas and admits he attended the wedding, hoping they might somehow reconnect. It is one of the few moments where he openly says what everyone already knew.

Margo’s Viral Fame Quickly Turns Ugly
As the Hungry Ghost videos continue, followers, likes, and money begin to grow quickly.
By Christmas, Margo and Shayanne are barely speaking after their fight in Vegas, though Margo still sends her mother photos of Bodhi. There is a distance between them.
Then one of Margo’s dance videos explodes online around New Year’s Eve.
Margo goes out with Becca, her oldest friend, home from NYU, to a party with former classmates. It is her first real party in a long time, and at first, things seem normal.
Without realizing it, Margo starts dancing using the same movements she uses as Hungry Ghost online. Some people at the party notice immediately.
Then everything spirals.
While hiding in the bathroom, Margo receives a tip from someone at the party recognizing her. By the time she walks out, the information has already spread through the room.
The episode handles the panic well. The fear on Margo’s face feels immediate and real because the separation between her online identity and real life suddenly disappears.
Her argument with Becca makes things even worse.
Becca accuses Margo of never asking about her life or problems anymore and reminds her that they once planned to move to New York together. Margo fires back that Becca comes from money and can actually afford those dreams in a way she never could.
The fight ends brutally with Becca telling Margo she has “daddy issues.”
It is harsh, but the scene works because both women are speaking from years of frustration, not just one bad night.

Mark Moves Against Margo
After the party, Margo rides home with Jinx, who tells her the Hungry Ghost video has already gone viral. Shayanne also called, asking to see her.
The next morning, Margo and Jinx visit Shayanne and Kenny.
By then, the story had spread across social media, including Shayanne’s Facebook feed. Margo finally tells Kenny the truth about her online work as well.
Interestingly, Kenny reacts far better than expected. He is calm, supportive, and understanding, which visibly relieves Shayanne.
Jinx reacts differently. He is not angry about the OnlyFans content itself. He is furious that Margo’s identity has been exposed publicly.
Elsewhere, Mark learns about everything too.
His mother visits him and makes it clear she does not want the scandal connected back to their family. Mark admits he already confessed everything to his wife.
For Mark’s mother, though, the NDA and the money arrangement with Margo. It is no longer enough now that Bodhi can be directly connected to them.
The episode ends with Margo being officially served papers.
Mark is seeking full custody of Bodhi on the grounds that Margo is an unfit mother.
And suddenly, Hungry Ghost no longer feels fun anymore.
