Netflix has now unveiled the official trailer for the series, offering a fuller look at the unsettling story created by Haley Z. Boston. The project is executive-produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, known for Stranger Things, and directed by Weronika Tofilska, whose previous credits include Baby Reindeer.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen centers on Rachel, played by Camila Morrone, who is five days away from getting married.
Together with her fiancé Nicky, portrayed by Adam DiMarco, she travels to his family’s vacation home in a remote forest. The couple plans to hold an intimate wedding ceremony there, surrounded by only a small group of guests.
Rachel arrives carrying doubts.
The character is described as prone to superstition and anxious thoughts. During the days leading up to the wedding, she begins to feel increasingly convinced that something terrible is about to happen.
The narrative unfolds across the week before the ceremony. A series of unsettling coincidences and disturbing surprises gradually force Rachel to question both the situation around her and the relationship itself.

“The week leading up to a wedding is such a ripe comparison to walking the plank. You’re marching toward your death if it’s the wrong choice.”
