Netflix Shares a First Look at Little Garden in One Piece Season 2

Netflix has released the first official images from One Piece Season 2, offering a glimpse at the next stop on the Straw Hats’ journey, Little Garden.

The photos tease an expansive new setting where the live-action adaptation will continue to test Luffy and his crew as they venture deeper into the Grand Line.

The One Piece: Into the Grand Line will expand the world introduced in the first season, bringing in new characters, enemies, and islands inspired by Eiichiro Oda’s record-breaking manga.

A Return to the Grand Line

Following the success of its debut in 2023, One Piece returns with higher stakes and a broader scope. Season 2 picks up as Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and the Straw Hat crew, Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar), sail into uncharted waters.

Netflix’s first look at Little Garden highlights the show’s continued commitment to capturing the series’ sense of adventure and danger. The island, known in the manga for its prehistoric creatures and dueling giants, marks a pivotal early stop in the Grand Line saga. Fans can expect larger-than-life battles, new friendships, and encounters that deepen the Straw Hats’ bond.

Expanding a Global Phenomenon

Based on Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga, One Piece is a collaboration between Netflix, Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner), and Shueisha. The One Piece Season 2 Netflix installment continues the platform’s investment in bringing anime classics to live action with cinematic scope and character-driven storytelling.

Since its launch, the live-action One Piece has been a breakout success. It became Netflix’s #1 English-language series in Japan, spending eight weeks on the Global Top 10 and reaching the top spot in over 75 countries. The show has amassed nearly 100 million views, marking it as one of Netflix’s most-watched and downloaded titles.

Its critical and fan acclaim also carried into award season, with 11 Children’s & Family Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Young Teen Series.

Little Garden and Beyond

While details about the storyline remain under wraps, the introduction of Little Garden suggests that One Piece Season 2 will delve into one of the manga’s most atmospheric arcs. Known for its ancient wilderness and themes of time, pride, and perseverance, the setting captures the spirit of Oda’s world: a blend of mythic adventure and human connection.
