Masterplan Trailer Puts Stanley Tucci at the Center of a Mona Lisa Heist

Prime Video has released the official trailer for Masterplan, its new French-Italian heist movie starring Stanley Tucci, Simona Tabasco and Victor Belmondo. The film will premiere worldwide on October 16, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

The trailer arrives alongside a new poster and stills, giving a first look at a rather complicated family reunion built around a plan to steal the Mona Lisa.

What Is Masterplan About? Watch the Trailer

Tucci stars as a legendary thief preparing his biggest job yet: stealing Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

To pull it off, he recruits Chiara, an Italian cybercrime expert, and Jay, a French explosives specialist. There’s one fairly important detail he initially leaves out. Chiara and Jay are long-lost siblings, and he’s their father.

The two strangers suddenly have to deal with the family they didn’t know they had while also trying to work together on an enormous heist.

Simona Tabasco, known for The White Lotus Season 2, stars alongside Tucci and Victor Belmondo (Bastion 36).

Masterplan Was Filmed Across France and Italy

Thomas Vincent directs Masterplan and co-wrote the screenplay with BAFTA-winning screenwriter David Wolstencroft.

The story comes from Giacomo Durzi, Alessandro Fabbri, Alberto Vignati, Wolstencroft and Vincent. Gaumont and Amazon MGM Studios co-produced the movie, which was filmed across several locations in France and Italy.

Masterplan is an English-language production despite its French-Italian setting and creative team.

The movie will launch exclusively on Prime Video on October 16.
