Prime Video’s Rose Hill adaptation has added five actors to its cast. Siobhan McGroarty, Sophia Reid-Gantzert and West Mulholland have joined as series regulars, while Gigi Zumbado and Curtis Hamilton will have recurring roles.
The upcoming romantic family drama is based on Elsie Silver’s bestselling Rose Hill book series and is being produced by Temple Hill.
Who are the new Rose Hill cast members?
McGroarty will play Cora, while Reid-Gantzert has been cast as Emmy Belmont and Mulholland will play Oliver Belmont. All three are series regulars.
McGroarty’s previous credits include Law & Order and V/H/S/Halloween: Kidprint. Reid-Gantzert has appeared in Death and Other Details and Scaredy Cats, while Mulholland’s television credits include Animal Kingdom, Legion and Little Fires Everywhere.
Gigi Zumbado will recur as Tabitha. Her previous television work includes The Lincoln Lawyer, Hightown and Bridge and Tunnel.
Curtis Hamilton has been cast in the recurring role of Bash Rousseau. Hamilton previously appeared in The Kings of Napa and the final season of Insecure.
What is Rose Hill about?
Rose Hill takes its name and characters from Silver’s romance series.
The story centers on best friends and neighbors West Belmont and Ford Grant. West is a rancher who struggles with commitment, while Ford is a record label owner who has long had feelings for West’s sister, Rosie.
Their lives become further tangled when country-pop star Skylar Stone arrives in their mountain town.
Who is making the Rose Hill series?
Heidi Cole McAdams serves as writer, showrunner and executive producer.
Marc Webb will direct the first two episodes and executive produce. Silver is also an executive producer alongside Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman for Temple Hill. Temple Hill’s Annika Patton serves as co-executive producer.
Temple Hill is producing the series for Prime Video.
A premiere date for Rose Hill has not been announced.
