Scooby-Doo: Origins goes back to the beginning of Mystery Inc.
The new series is a modern reimagining of Scooby-Doo and follows the future members of Mystery Inc. before they became the mystery-solving group we know.
The story begins during Shaggy and Daphne’s final summer at camp. The old friends become caught up in a mystery involving a lost Great Dane puppy who may have witnessed a supernatural murder.
Their investigation brings them together with Velma, described as a pragmatic and scientific local, and Freddy, a strange new arrival. As the four try to solve the case, the mystery threatens to expose secrets of their own.
The premise also explains how Scooby enters their lives, with the Great Dane puppy at the center of the case that first brings the group together.
