The Good Daughter Sets November Premiere on Peacock as First Teaser Arrives

Peacock has released the first teaser for The Good Daughter, the new limited series starring Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy. All six episodes will premiere on November 12, 2026, with Brendan Gleeson, Olivia Williams and Harper Steele also among the cast.

The series comes from Karin Slaughter, who wrote every episode and serves as showrunner and executive producer. It’s based on Slaughter’s novel of the same name.

The Good Daughter Follows Two Sisters 20 Years After Their Family Was Torn Apart

Fahy plays Charlotte Quinn, and Byrne plays her sister Samantha. Twenty years earlier, a single night of violence fractured their lives, and both have spent the years since trying to put them back together.

Charlotte is now a lawyer, following in the footsteps of her father. When another attack hits the small town of Pikeville, she becomes the first witness at the scene. The case brings painful memories and buried secrets back to the surface as the story returns to what happened to the Quinn family two decades earlier.

At the center of it is the relationship between Charlotte and Samantha.

“The Good Daughter is a story of love, family, and the unbreakable bond between two resilient, funny, difficult sisters,” Slaughter said in a statement released with the teaser.

She added that Byrne and Fahy captured “all the history, heartache and joy” between the sisters while the mystery unfolds around them.
