Tires is coming back for Season 4. Netflix has officially renewed the Shane Gillis comedy for another season, with the announcement arriving after Season 3 reached the show’s highest-ever position on Netflix’s Global Top 10.
Season 3 climbed to No. 5 on the Global Top 10 English TV list during the week of August 17, 2026. Netflix has not announced a release date or production timeline for Tires Season 4.
Tires Season 4 Follows the Show’s Best Global Top 10 Ranking Yet
The renewal comes during the show’s strongest run on Netflix’s global chart so far.
According to Netflix, the first three seasons of Tires have accumulated more than 45 million views since the series premiered in 2024. Season 1 accounts for 24.5 million views between its May 23, 2024 release and June 30, 2026, while Season 2 recorded 15.9 million views between June 5, 2025 and June 30, 2026.
Season 3 then gave the series its highest-ever Global Top 10 ranking, reaching No. 5 on the English TV chart in August.
Shane Gillis kept his reaction to the renewal appropriately short.
“It’s cool to get to make another season of Tires.”
Co-creator, director and executive producer John McKeever added:
“I love this show and everyone who works on it. Excited to make more.”
Netflix Vice President of US Comedy Tracey Pakosta also pointed to Season 3’s performance when announcing the renewal, saying the show’s latest Top 10 result showed its audience was continuing to grow.
The renewal also follows an exclusive creative partnership announced earlier this year between Gillis, McKeever and Netflix to develop new series and movies. Gillis is also set to film two new stand-up specials for Netflix as part of the deal.
What Is Tires About?
Tires follows Will, played by Steve Gerben, the nervous and underqualified heir to an auto repair chain who is trying to turn around his father’s business while dealing with his cousin Shane, played by Gillis.
Season 3 finds Will and Shane adjusting to life as part owners while trying to keep Valley Forge afloat. As both the business and their friendship reach a breaking point, the two begin looking to their past as they decide what comes next.
The series was created by Gillis, Gerben and McKeever, with McKeever directing.
Alongside Gillis and Gerben, the cast includes Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias and Thomas Haden Church. Season 3’s guest cast includes Andrew Schulz, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Billy Magnussen, Taylor Misiak, Sofia Hasmik, Bobby Lee, Dan Soder, Rachel Blanchard, Garret Dillahunt, Anjelica Bette Fellini, Matt Walsh, Tommy Pope, Steph Tolev and H. Foley.
Tires Has Kept Production in Pennsylvania
All three seasons of Tires have been filmed in Pennsylvania, and Netflix says the production has worked with more than 250 local vendors and businesses across six towns: West Chester, Philadelphia, Phoenixville, Oaks, Frazer and Glenside.
The show is produced through Gillis and McKeever’s Dad Sick Productions. It was the company’s second production following Gillis’ Netflix stand-up special Beautiful Dogs.
Netflix has not yet announced when Tires Season 4 will begin filming or when the new episodes will premiere.
