The Kevin Langue Show Is Coming to Netflix in September

Netflix is bringing Kevin Langue’s YouTube shows to the streaming service. The Kevin Langue Show and Kevin Langue 2, also known as KL2, will arrive on Netflix beginning September 5.

The launch will include a curated selection of episodes from both channels’ existing catalogs. After that, new episodes will be released on Netflix day-and-date with their YouTube premieres.

The new partnership gives Netflix members another way to watch Langue’s guessing games and social experiments without moving the shows away from YouTube.

That’s an important part of the announcement. Netflix isn’t simply licensing a collection of older episodes. New episodes of The Kevin Langue Show and KL2 will continue to premiere on YouTube while also becoming available on Netflix on the same day.

The Kevin Langue Show puts Langue and his friends in front of a lineup of contestants as they question them and try to identify the person hiding a secret. The format has helped earn Langue the nickname “the World’s Best Guesser” on YouTube.

KL2 takes a looser approach, with Langue and his friends playing childish games and leaning more heavily into the group’s personalities and unscripted interactions.

Langue said in a statement that the audience behind his channels played a major part in making the Netflix partnership possible.

“The fans have been the driving force behind this opportunity and to see what we’ve built now also on Netflix is incredibly special,” Langue said. “I’m just so excited to continue bringing the energy of our shows to even more people around the world!”

Kevin Langue Has Built a Huge Audience on YouTube

Langue comes to Netflix with an established online following. According to the announcement, he has more than 13.5 million followers across platforms and his YouTube content has accumulated more than 3 billion lifetime views.

His shows have also recently moved beyond YouTube. This summer, Langue took The Kevin Langue Show on an 18-city live tour that sold more than 30,000 tickets.

The tour began in Los Angeles as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest, with each stop built around a different guessing game created for that particular city. It also included a sold-out show at the Chicago Theatre.

Both Netflix-bound shows are produced by AXEL. Langue and Zane Helberg serve as executive producers on The Kevin Langue Show, with Katherine Tompkins as associate producer. Langue and Helberg also executive produce KL2.
