Netflix is keeping America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on the field for another year. The documentary series has officially been renewed for Season 4, which will follow the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders throughout the 2026-27 season.
The new season is set to arrive on Netflix in 2027. An exact release date has not been announced yet.
The renewal comes a little over two months after Season 3 premiered on June 16, 2026. According to Netflix, the third season spent two weeks in its Global Top 10 and reached the Top 10 in 22 countries, including the United States.
America’s Sweethearts Season 4 Will Follow the 2026-27 DCC Team
Season 4 will once again begin with the competition to make the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, following rookie candidates, women hoping to return to the team, and established veterans.
From there, the cameras will continue through training camp and the NFL season with the newly formed 2026 squad.
Senior Director Kelli Finglass and Head Choreographer Judy Trammell will both return, keeping the two familiar faces at the center of the series as the new team takes shape.
Director and executive producer Greg Whiteley also returns for Season 4. Speaking about the renewal, Whiteley said the series has been able to move further beyond what viewers see during performances and spend more time with the women themselves.
“Every season we get a little further past the performance and closer to the person. What excites me is more than just who makes the team, it’s what these women are willing to explore and let viewers see along their journey.”
Whiteley added that the trust required to tell those stories “takes years” and said he was grateful to have another season to continue doing it.
