His plan covered both possible outcomes. If Debbie’s transport bill failed, he would bribe the necessary politicians and keep both his share and the accumulated interest.

If the bill passed, he would simply return the Albanians’ original money while still keeping everything it had earned. The group quickly realizes Ana’s real objective. She isn’t interested in the money itself. She’s waiting for Judith and Debbie to appear together during the withdrawal.

A dangerous plan takes shape
