Although Staten tries to keep his distance, Jake lets him know that Quinn is finally home.
Life has also changed around Ransom Canyon during Quinn’s absence. Several local ranches have sold out after Austin Water and Power’s pipeline project pushed landowners to cash in. Davis is no longer in town after selling his ranch and moving back to Austin with Paula Jo, while Reid has left to attend Texas A&M University.
