Even while tied up in the trunk, Lucky refuses to give up.
Using the lighter that belonged to her father, she burns through the zip tie around her wrists. After freeing herself, she searches the trunk and finds a screwdriver along with emergency road flares.
She quietly slips into the passenger area through the folding rear seat before lighting one of the flares.
The sudden fire and smoke create enough confusion for the vehicle to crash and flip over.
The fight isn’t over. Outside the wreck, one of Priscilla’s men attacks Lucky and nearly strangles her. Running out of options, she grabs the screwdriver and stabs him in the temple, killing him.
Hours later, she wakes up trapped beneath his body as the sun rises over the desert.
Knowing she can’t leave evidence behind, Lucky drags the man’s body back into the wrecked vehicle, removes the screwdriver and uses leaking gasoline to set the car on fire.
