Myron Bolitar Adds Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman, Jamie McShane and Ben McKenzie to Cast

Netflix is filling out the cast of its upcoming Myron Bolitar series. Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman and Jamie McShane have joined as series regulars, while Ben McKenzie will appear in a recurring role.

The four newcomers join Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero in the drama, which brings Harlan Coben’s long-running Myron Bolitar books to Netflix for the first time.

Who Are the New Myron Bolitar Cast Members?

Jabari Banks, best known for playing Will in Bel-Air, will star as Dwayne Richmond. Netflix describes Dwayne as a charismatic tennis prodigy expected to become one of the best players in the world. He is also a star client at MB Sports, complete with signature shoes and trademarked sunglasses.

Chloe Fineman joins the series as Parker Quinn, a sports reporter for a major publication who has built her reputation through hard work and her passion for sports. Fineman is known for Saturday Night Live and The Dink.

Jamie McShane will play Detective Ray Dimonte, a seasoned NYPD homicide detective. McShane recently appeared in Task and is also known to Netflix viewers from Wednesday.

Ben McKenzie rounds out the latest casting announcement as Gavin Pierce, although unlike the other three additions, McKenzie will be a recurring guest star.

Gavin has some history with Myron. He was Myron’s agent during his brief professional career, but dropped him after the injury that ended Myron’s playing days. The two have never resolved their differences.

Colin Woodell Leads Netflix’s Myron Bolitar

The latest additions join three cast members Netflix previously announced.

Colin Woodell will play Myron Bolitar, with KJ Apa as Win Lockwood and Diane Guerrero as Esperanza Diaz.

The series follows Myron after an injury ends his hopes of playing in the NBA. He instead becomes a sports agent, working with his clients in a world where their problems can extend far beyond what happens on the court or field.

The character comes from Coben’s longest-running book series. There are currently 12 Myron Bolitar novels, beginning with Deal Breaker.

David E. Kelley and Kyle Long will serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers. Kelley previously worked with Netflix on Anatomy of a Scandal, A Man in Full and The Lincoln Lawyer.

Matthew Tinker will executive produce for David E. Kelley Productions, alongside Coben for Final Twist Productions and Rick Muirragui. Greg Yaitanes is also an executive producer and will direct multiple episodes.

Myron Bolitar Continues Netflix’s Harlan Coben Partnership

While this will be Myron Bolitar’s first Netflix series, Coben has been working with the streamer since 2018.

More than 13 of his books have now been adapted for Netflix, including Fool Me Once, Run Away, Safe, The Woods, The Innocent, Gone for Good, Stay Close, Hold Tight, The Stranger, Missing You, Just One Look, Caught and I Will Find You.

The most recent, I Will Find You, became Netflix’s biggest original scripted debut of 2026. According to Netflix, it spent four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the English TV list, reached No. 1 in 80 countries and recorded 74 million views by its third week.

Myron Bolitar now gives Netflix something slightly different from those previous adaptations. Rather than adapting another standalone Coben thriller, the series has a lead character with 12 books of stories behind him.

Netflix has not announced a release date for the series.
