Netflix released the official trailer and key art alongside the announcement, offering the first preview of the new season. The upcoming installment includes eight new episodes, each running approximately thirty minutes.
The trailer also reveals a notable return to the franchise.
Lana Condor will reprise her role as Lara Jean, marking her first appearance in the series and reuniting the Song-Covey sisters on screen.
The moment connects the show directly back to the world introduced in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before films.

The XO Kitty Season 3 release date announcement included confirmation that Lana Condor will return as Lara Jean, the character she played throughout the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film series.
The appearance marks the first time the character has appeared in XO, Kitty, which focuses on Lara Jean’s younger sister.
Speaking about the reunion, Condor shared her reaction to returning to the franchise.
“It’s such a joy to be able to come back and see Anna,” Condor said in comments shared through Tudum. “I think she did an amazing job creating the XO, Kitty world. It’s such a dream to be able to work with her again. I feel really excited and happy and honored I get to be back.”
