Mark Rober Netflix Show Coming in 2026
The Mark Rober Netflix show is officially on its way. The former NASA engineer turned YouTube creator will bring his larger-than-life science experiments to the streamer in a brand-new Kids and Family competition series set to debut in 2026.
Produced by Rober’s company CrunchLabs in partnership with Kimmelot, Jimmy Kimmel’s production studio, the series promises to combine education, creativity, and high-energy challenges. Rober himself, along with CrunchLabs Chief Content Officer Scott Lewers, will serve as executive producer alongside Kimmel and Kimmelot President Scott Lonker.
From YouTube Fame to Netflix Spotlight
Rober rose to prominence with viral videos that made engineering accessible and wildly entertaining. He’s the mind behind the glitter bomb trap for porch pirates, the world’s largest “elephant toothpaste” explosion, and squirrel obstacle courses that captivated millions.
Now, his experiments will move from YouTube to Netflix, where families can experience his inventive approach on a bigger stage.
“I love turning learning into a game, basically hiding the vegetables in the dessert, and now it’s a full-on competition game show!” Rober said. “When you’re having fun, you’re learning without even realizing it. And teaming up with Netflix and Jimmy Kimmel to make this happen? This is gonna be epic!”
Kimmel echoed the excitement:
“My kids love Mark Rober, and so do their parents. Mark’s videos are so clever and inventive, it’s easy to forget they’re educational, too. We can’t wait to introduce one of the best and brightest creators to Netflix.”
Why Mark Rober’s Netflix Show Matters
With more than 76 million followers across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, Rober has built one of the most loyal audiences in digital media. His content blends humor, curiosity, and STEM principles in ways that appeal to kids and adults alike.
Netflix’s VP of Series, Animation, Kids and Family, John Derderian, described the partnership as a perfect fit:
“Mark Rober’s unique approach to STEM learning inspires all ages – his storytelling is infectious… Collaborating with CrunchLabs and Kimmel on a competition series for kids is going to be next level.”
The show also positions Netflix to strengthen its Kids and Family lineup, joining titles like KPop Demon Hunters, Leo, and Gabby’s Dollhouse.
What Else is Coming from Rober
Beyond the upcoming Netflix series, fans can expect some of Rober’s most ambitious experiments to arrive on the platform later this year. That includes reimagined versions of the viral science stunts that made him a household name.
Rober also continues to expand CrunchLabs, the company he founded in 2022 as a hands-on STEM hub. The brand offers monthly engineering “Build Boxes,” a virtual camp, and educational resources designed to teach problem-solving through play.
