Netflix has released the official trailer for Love Con Revenge, the unscripted docuseries fronted by Cecilie Fjellhøy of The Tinder Swindler.
Premiering Friday, September 5, 2025, the six-episode series follows victims of romance scams as they fight back against the con artists who deceived them.
From Victim to Advocate
Cecilie Fjellhøy knows first-hand the devastation of romance fraud. Her story in The Tinder Swindler reached millions worldwide, exposing how charm and deception can be weaponized for financial gain. In Love Con Revenge, she partners with Private Investigator Brianne Joseph to investigate new cases, track down digital predators, and help victims reclaim their lives.
“I never imagined my story would resonate the way it has,” Fjellhøy said. “Since The Tinder Swindler, I’ve heard from people all over the world who’ve been targeted by criminals hiding behind love. The Scope of Romance Fraud
Creative Director James O’Reilly describes the series as a deep dive into “the jaw-dropping scale of romance fraud, and the emotional and financial toll it takes on victims.”
He adds:
