Netflix has released the official trailer for Stolen: Heist of the Century, a gripping new documentary that unpacks the real-life mystery behind one of the boldest and most elaborate diamond thefts in history.
The film premieres globally on August 8, 2025, and comes from the acclaimed producers behind The Tinder Swindler, American Nightmare, and Don’t F**k With Cats.
A Vault, A Crew, and $500 Million Gone
It happened overnight on February 17, 2003, in the heart of Antwerp’s diamond district. An underground vault thought to be unbreachable was emptied in a single night, with diamonds, gold, and jewelry worth somewhere between $100 million and half a billion dollars stolen. None of it has ever been recovered.
Stolen: Heist of the Century gives the most complete version of the story to date, told by the detectives who cracked the case, and for the first time, the alleged mastermind behind the heist.

Produced by RAW in association with Amblin Documentaries (the team behind Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul) and in collaboration with Wildside, the project combines rigorous reporting with the kind of narrative pacing you’d expect from a top-tier thriller.
It’s based on the book Flawless by Scott Andrew Selby and Greg Campbell, which explored the mechanics and psychology of the crew behind what’s now known as “The Heist of the Century.”
