Millie Bobby Brown and Gabriel LaBelle to Lead Romantic Comedy Just Picture It at Netflix

Millie Bobby Brown and Gabriel LaBelle Set to Star in Netflix’s New Romantic Comedy Just Picture It

Millie Bobby Brown is headed back to Netflix, but this time, it’s not for monsters, mysteries, or swords. The Stranger Things and Enola Holmes star is teaming up with The Fabelmans breakout Gabriel LaBelle for Just Picture It, a romantic comedy feature that mixes college chaos with a dash of fate.

Directed by Lee Toland Krieger (To All the Boys: Always and Forever), the film centers on two college students whose lives take an unexpected turn when their phones mysteriously start showing them photos from a future they haven’t lived — a future where they’re happily married with kids.

The story blends campus life, relationship panic, and a sci-fi twist that asks the question: if the future already looks perfect, what happens to the present?

Brown and LaBelle are backed by a seasoned production team. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum are producing for RK Films, alongside Millie and Robert Brown for PCMA Productions. Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Roberts also serve as executive producers, joined by David Kern and Alyssa Altman.

Jesse Lasky pens the script.

This marks yet another high-profile Netflix project for Brown, who continues to expand her presence on and off screen. From the fantasy epic Damsel to her producing role in the Enola Holmes franchise, and now a grounded romantic comedy, she’s proving there’s little she can’t do.

Just Picture It doesn’t have a release date yet, but with production on the way, it’s one more title to keep an eye on as Netflix builds out its rom-com slate.
