Production has officially kicked off on Geek Girl Season 2, and the first table read is already in the books.
Netflix’s hit YA series is back in action, filming in London with returning stars and a brand-new addition. Layton Williams (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) joins the cast this season as Onassis, a fresh face in Harriet’s whirlwind world of high fashion and awkward growing pains.
Back to the Runway (and the Classroom)
Based on Holly Smale’s bestselling book series, Geek Girl follows Harriet Manners, a bright but socially clumsy teen who gets scouted by a top modeling agency and is suddenly juggling high-stakes photo shoots with algebra homework.
Season 2 picks up with Harriet still caught between two identities: the geek who never fit in at school and the model still finding her footing in a cutthroat industry. As pressures mount and new friendships form, Harriet faces big questions about who she is and who she wants to become.

Returning for Season 2 are Em Carey as Harriet, Emmanuel Imani, Liam Woodrum, Rochelle Harrington, Zac Looker, Sarah Parish, Tim Downie, Jemima Rooper, and Hebe Beardshall.
The series is produced by RubyRock Pictures and Boat Rocker, with Holly Smale and Jessica Ruston (also co-creator) leading the writing team. Declan O’Dwyer returns to direct.
