What Is Physical 100: USA?

Like its predecessor, Physical 100: USA won’t just focus on muscle mass. The challenges will demand strategy, psychological grit, and stamina as much as raw power. It’s not enough to look the part, you’ll have to prove it under extreme pressure.

Inspired by the punishing training regimen of Physical: 100 Season 1 winner Woo Jin-yong, who ran with a weighted vest, performed hundreds of pull-ups, push-ups, and squats daily, the American edition promises to be just as intense. Possibly more.

Production will be handled by Arthur Smith & Co., with Arthur Smith, David Friedman, Anthony Storm, and Eli Baldrige on board as executive producers. Filming details and the official cast reveal are still under wraps.

A Growing Global Franchise

The U.S. adaptation is part of a larger expansion of the Physical franchise:

  • Physical: Asia is set to debut later this year, pitting top-tier athletes from across Asia in team-based national competitions.
  • A European version is also in the works, promising more regional adaptations of the hit survival-competition format.

Since its launch, Physical: 100 has ranked in Netflix’s Global Top 10 in over 80 countries, thanks to its mix of raw physicality, sportsmanship, and edge-of-your-seat endurance trials. That global momentum is now fueling an ambitious new chapter, and the U.S. is next in line to sweat for the crown.

Ahead of the U.S. premiere, viewers can stream Seasons 1 and 2 of Physical: 100 on Netflix. You can also check out other competition titles like Battle Camp and Squid Game: The Challenge for more high-stakes action.
