Netflix just dropped the official trailer for Perfect Match Season 3, and it’s already stirring the pot.
The tropical dating series returns August 1 with a new lineup, a fresh batch of twists, and, for the first time ever, contestants pulled from outside Netflix’s reality universe. Bachelor Nation and Love Island fans, this one’s for you too.
A Crossover Reality Universe
Perfect Match originally launched as Netflix’s answer to the “love and chaos” genre, pairing singles from its reality roster (Too Hot to Handle, Love Is Blind, The Circle, etc.) in a high-stakes matchmaking experiment.
But Season 3 ups the ante. This time, the villa welcomes not just Netflix alumni but icons from Bachelor Nation, Love Island, and other major reality TV hits. These new additions bring more drama, more strategy, and even less predictability.

The Format: Three Weeks of Weekly Drops
Instead of dropping all at once, Netflix will release Perfect Match Season 3 in three waves:
- Friday, August 1: Episodes 301–306
- Friday, August 8: Episodes 307–309
- Friday, August 15: Episode 310 — the finale
That’s 10 episodes total, all hosted by returning MC Nick Lachey, who once again keeps the chaos moving with his signature deadpan delivery.
What’s New This Season?
While the core format remains, contestants pair up in romantic duos and vote to send new singles into the game, the new crossover cast brings extra layers of strategy. The most compatible couples continue to earn matchmaking power, choosing who stays, who dates whom, and who goes home.
But with so many different dating-show styles clashing under one roof, expect sparks. Fans of emotional confessions (The Bachelor) and sneaky gameplay (The Mole) will all find something to grab onto.
Who Produces It?
Season 3 is once again produced by Kinetic Content, the powerhouse behind Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight. Their formula of mixing high-concept dating formats with real human drama has kept Perfect Match at the top of Netflix’s unscripted offerings.
