A Story Beyond the Spotlight

At its heart, KPOP DEMON HUNTERS is about more than flashy choreography and catchy hooks. Arden Cho, who voices Rumi, reflects, “It’s about culture, identity, and finding your place in the world. I wish I had something like this growing up.”

The story follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—global K-pop superstars who secretly double as demon hunters, protecting their fans from supernatural threats. When an irresistible rival boy band of demons emerges, the trio faces their biggest challenge yet.

Ji-young Yoo, who voices Zoey, was inspired by the film’s portrayal of strong, multifaceted women. “These characters embrace beauty, kindness, and strength. They kick butt—and they’re not afraid to be themselves.”
