Netflix has dropped the official trailer for UNTOLD: The Liver King, the second installment in the new wave of UNTOLD documentaries set to premiere throughout May.
The 65-minute film will debut globally on May 13, 2025, diving into the story behind one of the internet’s most controversial fitness influencers.
Directed by Joe Pearlman, and produced by Bitachon 365 and Candle True Stories, the documentary offers a closer look at the rise—and reckoning—of Brian Johnson, better known as The Liver King.
About the Documentary
With a chiseled physique and a raw meat diet, The Liver King gained massive attention by promoting an “ancestral lifestyle” on social media. His content reached millions, inspiring a dedicated following and building a supplement empire rooted in primal health ideals.
But the story took a turn when a steroid scandal challenged the authenticity of his brand. UNTOLD: The Liver King explores both sides of the phenomenon: the man behind the muscle, and the fallout from revelations that put his ethos under scrutiny.
The film features interviews with The Liver King himself, his family, and those involved in the business that grew alongside his online fame. It’s a story about image, ambition, and the blurred line between influence and reality in the digital age.
