The season opens with Ginny and her younger brother, Austin, living with their father, Zion, in Boston. Upon returning to Wellsbury, she begins therapy to confront her mental health issues. Georgia is resolute in keeping up the appearance of a flawless existence in Wellsbury. She is engaged to Mayor Paul Randolph and is in the midst of planning their wedding. The reappearance of Austin’s father, Gil, adds more layers of trouble, exposing a history of abuse and financial scams.
