We updated you with the new interesting cast additions to season 6 only last week, but the filming for the sixth season of the romantic drama has wrapped after a week of very long night shoots.
The cast and crew celebrated with a 70s-themed dance show and party.
The filming for Virgin River season 6 started on February 21st and continued through June 3rd. During the final days of production, the cast and crew were occupied with very long night shoots.
On Friday, May 31st, writer and executive producer Richard Keith confirmed via his Instagram page that he was still on set at 3 a.m.
Netflix’s 2024 series slate, updated on February 1st, still doesn’t include Virgin River season 6.
The series is expected to return before the end of 2024.
Showrunner and executive producer Patrick Sean Smith posted on his Instagram to commemorate the wrap-up of the season, “a season so big it too an extra day of filming”.

Many fans got excited, thanking the cast and crew for their hard work and expressing their anticipation for the upcoming season.
Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith commented under the post with “What. A. Season,” prompting fans to believe they will be in for a ride in the upcoming season.
Jennifer Cooper also commented, “Thank you for all your efforts in creating a truly memorable season 6”.
Earlier on Friday, Colin Lawrence, through his Instagram account, posted a photo in front of his trailer, confirming the wrapping and thanking the Virgin River fans for their constant support.
The crew and part of the cast celebrated the wrap of the sixth season of the acclaimed feel-good show on Saturday with a 70s-themed dance show and party.


Some of the cast members who attended the party include Alexandra Breckenridge, Ruby Allen, Sarah Dugdale, Kandyse McClure, Clare Filipow, and Kai Bradbury.
