NADAL AND ALCARAZ WILL SERVE FOR THE NETFLIX SLAM

Netflix is expanding its live sports coverage with a new event The Netflix Slam.

Following on from The Netflix Cup – a live golfing event featuring drivers from ‘Drive to Survive’ and golfers from ‘Full Swing’ – the streaming platform has announced a new live tennis event.

The Netflix Slam is set to be headlined by the impressive Spanish duo of Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz.

WHEN WILL THE NETFLIX SLAM AIR?

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, The Netflix Slam, hosted by MGM Resorts International, will stream live from the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

WHO WILL PLAY THE NETFLIX SLAM?

The main event will feature Rafael Nadal, a 22-time Grand Slam men’s singles title champion, who will take on his fellow Spaniard and world No. 2, Carlos Alcaraz.

More information about other players and matchups will be announced at a later date.

The event will be available for live streaming, with dual broadcasts in both English and Spanish.

“I’m honored and so happy to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas,” Alcaraz said. “He’s an all-time great, of course, and his records and achievements speak for themselves.”

“I’m very excited for my first visit to Las Vegas,” Nadal added. “I’m also very excited to be playing with my fellow countryman Carlos Alcaraz. I am sure it will be a fantastic night of tennis.”

The Netflix Slam will be produced by Full Day Productions. Full Day produced The Netflix Cup.
