What Finding Her Edge Is About
According to Netflix’s official synopsis, Finding Her Edge follows the three Russo sisters, whose family rink is facing financial instability. At the center of the story is Adriana Russo, the middle sister, who is training for the World Championships with a new skating partner, Brayden Elliot.
Adriana’s life becomes complicated as she continues to harbor feelings for her former partner and first love, Freddie O’Connell. When Adriana and Brayden decide to pretend to be a couple off the ice in order to secure a sponsorship, the arrangement is meant to keep the Russo rink afloat. The decision, however, adds new layers of tension within the family and the skating world around them.
The series tracks these dynamics alongside the pressures of elite competition and the bonds that hold Team Russo together.

Meet the Russo Family and Key Characters
The Russo family forms the emotional core of Finding Her Edge, with each member facing their own crossroads.
- Adriana Russo is the determined middle sister, carrying the weight of expectations as she returns to competitive skating with something to prove.
- Elise Russo, the eldest, is a fierce competitor who has long defined herself through skating and now questions who she is beyond it.
- Maria Russo, the youngest, brings a rebellious energy as she begins to question whether skating is truly her path.

Their father, Will Russo, is an Olympic champion attempting to manage the rink, coach elite skaters, and raise three teenage daughters at the same time.

Outside the family, Freddie O’Connell returns to the rink after being abruptly cut out of Adriana’s life, while Brayden Elliot, a confident and highly sought-after ice dancer, becomes Adriana’s new partner both on the ice and, for appearances, off it.
